Working with the Commission’s Strategic Outreach Committee, we developed the brand identity using bright colors, bold type and dynamic shapes to create the visual representation of a signpost making San Diego the intersection of Arts and Culture.

Since the agencies that receive funding from the Commission need to include the logo on their promotional collateral, we developed a brand application guide to ensure that the contracting agencies could properly apply the logo to their own marketing materials.

BTW, this is the only logo that we have ever designed that was turned into a cake! 🙂
