Branding
We worked with Bluemotif Architecture and Azul Hospitality to develop the brand identity for the Mosaic restaurant in the new Sheraton Hotel in Redding, California.
The logo and identity was inspired by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and his iconic Sundial Bridge. The Sundial Bridge spans the Sacramento River across from the hotel and is surrounded by plazas with numerous tile mosaics.
We did not design the Mosaic website, but the food is great so stop by if you’re in the area!
World Record Mosaic!
Our friend, artist Ante Marinović, is creating the world’s longest mosaic in Vela Luka, Croatia. I met Ante through our mutual friend Petar Perisic and we exhibited his artwork in our Flux gallery in San Diego. Ante moved back to his native Vela Luka in 2016 and is now working as creative director on the mural project.
