Cafe Moto Coffee Roasters

Cafe Moto has been roasting coffee in San Diego since 1990 and continues to build on the family coffee legacy. Torrey & Kim Lee now lead the fourth roastery which is solar powered and offers a wide range of coffee, tea and cocoa products many with Kosher, Fair Trade and Organic certification.

We did not design the original winged logo for Cafe Moto (instead we maintained its 25 year history), but we have worked with the Cafe Moto team over many years to update, unify and expand their brand identity.

In addition to developing a design system to organize all of their coffee labeling, we created bold new graphic brand identifiers and applied them to cups, sleeves, bags and packaging for their coffees and teas. They have also been applied to business cards, signage, clothing and all manner of marketing and advertising.
